COURSE OVERVIEW
This course addresses the developments of international law in Korea, especially how it applies to Korea in some of the important issues that faces this country in the 21st Century. With the rapid economic development, Korea has ascended to become a legitimate Asian power during the latter half of the 20th century. The rise of Korea tracks neatly with advent of globalization and the growing importance of international law in managing the increasing interactions between states themselves and other non-state entities.
