The K-Academic Diffusion Research Center of Inha Center for International Studies has been making efforts to develop, produce, disseminate, and expand online lectures and contents focusing on political diplomacy in Korea. As a part of spreading Korean studies as political diplomacy, the center would like to inform potential participants for the essay contest for the K-MOOC lectures at Inha University as follows: We ask students for your interest and participation including graduate students.

1.    Recruitment Overview

     - Number of participants: No limitations

     - Target: Korean and foreign students enrolled in Inha University (undergraduate, graduate school,

                      Korean language education center

     - How to apply: Online (by email)_k-academy@inha.ac.kr

     - Eligibility for application: Any university (graduate) student in Inha University

2.    Activity Overview

      - Application period: 2024.Dec.19^th (Thursday) to 2025.Feb.09^th (Sunday) (approximately 2 months)

      - Main Contents:

        1) Select and complete at least one online video course produced by Inha Center

            (only available for courses in progress)

        2) Write an essay focusing on the impressions of excellent lecture, exemplary cases,

             and self-development experience after taking the lectures

        3) Submitting the certificate of completion (PDF file) is required

3. Benefits

      1) one grand prize (prize money of 300,000 won) /

           three excellence prizes (prize money of 200,000 won each) /

           three encouragement prizes (prize money of 100,000 won each)

      2) The best award and excellence award winners will be given an opportunity to participate in the 2nd K-Connectors

       ※ Unless one of four award winners wants to join 2nd K-Connectors, one team might not be created

            (Monthly activity allowance will be provided)

      3) The 2nd K-Connectors' excellent activity team will participate in overseas diffusion activities

           (overseas business trips) and accompany them

           / provide opportunities to present excellent activities and related presentations at overseas academic conference

4. Schedule

   ※ The schedule above is subject to change depending on the situation
   ※ The award ceremony will be held simultaneously with the launching ceremony of the 2nd K-Connectors
   ※ In connection with the selected essay, a brief summary of the lecture will be presented
