On June 20, Director Jean-Young Lee of the Inha CIS visited the Korean Studies Department at the University for Foreigners of Siena and the Yoon Dong-Ju Korean Studies Research Institute in Italy to introduce the K-Academic Diffusion Project and present Korean Studies courses developed by the center. He also visited the Korean Cultural Center in Italy, the Korean Studies Department at Goethe University, Frankfurt, and the University of Jena in Germany to share research outcomes and discuss strategies for the global dissemination of Korean studies. Professor Reise from the University of Jena in Germany decided to have students watch a video about Korea's international politics prior to the class discussions for the Europe and East Asia course in the fall semester. This video will serve as a foundation for a week of discussions in the class. This visit and presentation have become an important opportunity to internationally publicize the academic achievements of the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center at the Inha University Institute of International Relations. On June 11, the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held a welcoming event for the Korea & Hawaii History Club students visiting Inha University. During the event, the students learned about diverse activities related to the Korean Studies research the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center conducts. They also had the opportunity to explore the deep-rooted history and historical landmarks connecting Inha University and Hawaii.

K-Connectors 2024.07.23(10:16) K-Academic Diffusion Research Center Hosts 'K-Connectors 1st Launch Ceremony'
On April 11, the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the 'K-Connectors 1st Launch Ceremony' at Inha University’s Wolcheon Hall. Ten teams, consisting of Korean and international students enrolled at Inha University, will plan and execute online and offline projects to promote Korean studies, create and disseminate Korean studies content, and engage in various promotional activities.

On February 6, 2024, the Inha Center for International Studies (Director Jean-Young Lee) signed an MOU with The World Assembly of Korean Associations (Chirman Sim Sangman). With this agreement as an opportunity, the two institutes plan to cooperate to develop and spread Korean studies’ education and research at home and abroad, conducting joint academic research, holding joint academic conferences, and other mutual development. In order to disseminate its achievements to overseas Koreans and foreigners in Korea who have a high demand for Korean Studies, the Institute has expanded its K-MOOC channel by linking and posting the Inha University K-MOOC video lecture YouTube channel on the “Public Diplomacy Academy” tab of the World Federation of Korean Associations' website.(Link to Public Diplomacy Academy )
