The K-Connectors, managed by the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center at Inha University, are a public diplomacy group dedicated to spreading Korean studies globally. The group consists of ten active teams, including the 'ESG Insight' team led by team leader Jaeyoung Kim, which focuses on an 'environmentally friendly' project. This team strives to inform foreigners about Korea's various efforts toward sustainability and environmental protection.

On July 17, the ESG Insight team conducted an event in Myeongdong, introducing foreigners to Korea's eco-friendly practices through the keywords 'Precycling, Upcycling, Recycling,' and linking these practices to 'K-culture.' This event was part of a broader initiative to promote Korea's sustainable environmental protection activities. Participants received eco-friendly tote bags featuring the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center's logo and the Korean flag.

Students from several countries, including Myanmar, Indonesia, France, and Hungary, attended the event, learning about Korea's eco-friendly initiatives and developing a greater interest in them. These international students had the valuable opportunity to see firsthand how Korea's commitment to environmental friendliness goes beyond mere slogans and is actively practiced in daily life.

Furthermore, the ESG Insight team plans to hold another event in Itaewon in August, following a plogging event in Myeongdong. Plogging, which involves picking up litter while jogging, highlights the importance of environmental protection and aims to continually promote Korea's eco-friendly culture. Moving forward, the K-Connectors will continue their diverse activities to spread Korean culture worldwide and promote Korean studies.
