On May 2, the Center for K-Academic Diffusion Reasearch Center at Inha University held an online lecture for K-Connectors.

The event proceeded in the following order: an introduction to the K-Connectors schedule, a lecture on copyright by instructor Lee Seung-hoon, and a public diplomacy lecture by Ilya Belyakov. The event provided a lecture on the various aspects of copyright to consider when planning projects and creating content aimed at promoting Korean studies. Additionally, there was an opportunity to share thoughts on the aspects of Korean public diplomacy through a meeting with a foreigner who has significant experience in the field.

Instructor Lee Seung-hoon explained the copyright laws and portrait rights that need attention when creating content. The lecture focused on the usage cases and precautions for sources, images, music, and fonts needed for video production. This provided the Connectors with a chance to thoroughly understand and prepare for the important considerations before beginning their activities.

Ilya Belyakov, who has been active as a broadcaster and university professor after appearing on JTBC’s variety show "Non-Summit," delivered a lecture on how Korea is viewed from a foreign perspective. Through Ilya Belyakov’s lecture, students had the opportunity to gain a new understanding of Korea and the importance of public diplomacy from an outsider’s viewpoint.
