On October 29th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center under Inha Center for International Studies (ICIS) visited the Korean Studies Research Center located at Hanoi National University in Vietnam so as to discuss how to utilize K-MOOC courses and cooperate with each other.
Ms. Nguyen Thi ̣Ha, the lecturer of its organization, has been using some of the K-MOOC courses related to Korean politics, history, and culture since signing the MOU with ICIS on March 14, 2022, and has shared various opinions on how to expand the K-MOOC courses in Vietnam further.
For example, K-MOOC courses and certificates are expected to help not only raise awareness about Korean studies, but also serve as incentives for recruitment and selection for Vietnamese young students preparing to study abroad in Korea or Vietnamese workers preparing to apply for overseas work-permit. Accordingly, it seems necessary for us to select the appropriate subjects of lecture given targets and audiences and also set the difficulty of the courses in detail.
Inha University's K-Academic Diffusion Research Center and University of Languages & International Studies (ULIS) will continue to cooperate for joint academic research, the spread of K-MOOC courses, and other mutual development through continuous exchanges.
