Kim Sung Jin, a co-researcher at the K Academic Diffusion Research Center under Inha Center for International Studies (ICIS), visited the Asian Studies Department of the University of Latvia in October to introduce the overall K Academic Diffusion Research Project, ICIS and discuss the current status of the university's Korean Studies major. The introduction of online lectures on the K Academic Diffusion Research Project was conducted with the cooperation of Ambassador Lee Dong Gyu of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Latvia. Along with online lectures, he visited the University of Latvia during the vacation to deliver special lectures and discussed how to cooperate and various ways such as conducting online classes related to Q&A with students.

Through this visit, the project has been effectively carried out in spreading Korean studies in Eastern Europe, and discussions and cooperation with the University of Latvia will continue to prosper in the future.
