On August 29th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted a workshop on one of its key projects: the publication of an English research book titled 'Identity Politics and Public Diplomacy in Korea: Migration, Ethnicity, Network and Governance'. The event began with an opening address by Lee Jean-Young, Director of the Inha Center for International Studies, and was divided into two sessions featuring presentations and in-depth discussions on the book's topics.
In the first session, moderated by Prof. Sangtu Ko from Yonsei University, presenters included Prof. Sehoon Choi from Chinese Culture University, Prof. Hye-Kyung Lee from Pai Chai University, Professor Park Woo from Hansung University, Prof. Suweon Kim from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, Prof. Seongjin Kim from Duksung Women's University, who shared their research findings.
The second session was a roundtable discussion moderated by Prof. Hye-Kyung Lee from Pai Chai University. All presenters, along with Prof. Jin Suk Bae from Konkuk University, Research Professor SeungJae Lee from Inha University, engaged in a thorough discussion.
The publication of the English research book is scheduled for the end of April 2025.
