The K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held its 6th workshop on June 3 (Fri.) on the topic of “North Korean Workers in Russia’s Primorsky Krai after COVID-19.”

The workshop examined the current status and changes in the North Korean workforce residing and working in Primorsky Krai following the COVID-19 pandemic. Participants discussed key issues surrounding the workers’ working conditions and human rights, as well as how the situation of North Korean workers in the region can be understood in the context of changing international dynamics and Russia–North Korea relations.
