On January 20th, Inha Center for International Studies(CIS) hosted the first colloquium on the subject of research and education on Korean studies in central Asian countries with Professor Dongki Sung, Vice Director of CIS, an expert on Central Asia and Russia. On this day, Professor Sung examined recent trends in Korean studies in Russia, Central Asian countries, and the former Soviet Union countries. Finally, Professor Sung suggested several directions and strategies in connecting Inha University's K-Academic Diffusion Center with universities in the region to develop Korean Studies overseas.
