On June 12th, the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted a steering meeting to discuss MOU contracts with universities and research institutes from Taiwan, China, Japan, and other Asian regions. The meeting was attended by professors from 10 universities across Asia, including Prof. Dustin Kuan-Hsiung WANG from National Taiwan Normal University, Prof. Yen-Chiang CHANG from Dalian Maritime University, and Prof. Kanami ISHIBASHI from Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Alongside Jean-Young Lee, Director of the Inha CIS, they discussed plans for joint research and mutual cooperation.

This steering meeting served as a crucial platform to enhance cooperation between universities and research institutes in Asia and to foster academic achievements through collaborative research efforts. Participants shared their respective research areas and interests, delved into specific cooperation plans, and established consensus on the necessity and direction of MOU signings.

In the afternoon, an international academic conference on the theme of "Asian State’s Potential Leadership in International Law" was held. The conference explored various perspectives on how Asian countries can demonstrate leadership potential in international law. The experts participating in the conference engaged in profound discussions on strategies to amplify their influence within the international community, drawing insights from their respective national contexts.

Through these events, the Inha K-Academic Diffusion Research Center aims further to fortify the academic network in the Asian region, stimulate joint research initiatives and mutual exchange, and advance international research capabilities.
