The seminar was a meaningful place where the next generation of young people, as well as academics and experts, participated together in sharing the knowledge and discussion on intergenerational communication and future-oriented relations between Korea and Japan. On the Korean side, Professor Song Seok-won of Kyung Hee University's Department of Political Science and Diplomacy, research professor Lee Seung-jae of Inha University's Inha Center for International Studies(ICIS), and on the Kyushu side, professor Ogata of the East Asian Language Department of Fukuoka University's Department of Humanities attended the presentation, and students from Fukuoka Women's University and Fukuoka University continued to conduct the heated discussion.
Prior to this event, K-Connectors, a public diplomatic group centered on young Koreans, conducted exchange activities with Fukuoka Women's University students on June 21st. In particular, students from both countries held group presentations and discussions under the theme of "Korea-Japan Relations," and based on this, the short-term video of the exchange activities was produced in the form of Instagram Reels. A total of three teams participated and one team won the competition, and the video will be introduced through the promotional channels of both organizations.
The next day, on June 23rd, at Fukuoka University, a presentation by K-Connectors students and a group discussion between students from both countries took place during regular classes. At the end of the class, K-Connectors and students of the Department of East Asian Linguistics at Fukuoka University all shouted "Fighting" and ended the event harmoniously.
Meanwhile, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center at Inha University introduced the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center project to the participants of this event and distributed a newly designed Japanese promotional pamphlet, which received great response.
