6th 2024.03.04(16:08) Joint Researcher Workshop [K-Academic Operations, Promotion, and Dissemination]

On February 28th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted the 6th workshop of the 3rd year under the theme of "K-Academic Operations, Promotion, and Dissemination." This workshop comprised various topics including operational reports, demonstrations of courses for the 3rd year, sharing experiences and know-how regarding filming, and strategies for promoting and disseminating K-academics. There were sessions for Q&A regarding project implementation and for sharing suggestions and opinions of joint researchers. A total of 17 individuals attended the workshop, including staff members and joint researchers from the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center.

5th 2024.03.04(15:41) Community-Based Social Integration Policies and Domestic Chinese Diaspora

  On December 12th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center hosted a workshop in collaboration with the Center for Multiculturalism and Social Integration in Room 417, Building 9 of Inha University. During the workshop, Director Jean-Young Lee delivered a presentation on "Community-Based Social Integration Policies and Domestic Chinese Diaspora." Following the presentation, all participants engaged in mutual sharing of field experiences and in-depth discussions on domestic policies regarding the Chinese diaspora in Korea.

4th 2023.12.26(10:42) Korean Research Monograph Second Workshop

On December 7th, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center conducted its 4th workshop of the 3rd year. The central theme of the workshop was the publication of research, the key initiative of the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center. Participants engaged in presentations and discussions regarding the contents of their authored works. The publication of the research book is scheduled for the end of February 2024.

2nd 2023.09.26(00:00) The Spread of Korean Studies: The Case of Germany

On September 19, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the 2nd workshop of the 3rd year featuring Professor Eun-Jeung Lee from the Free University of Berlin, Germany. The workshop was held in connection with the main objective of the K-Academic Research Center, which is the dissemination of online courses for Korean studies. The workshop focused on the topic, "The Spread of Korean Studies: The Case of Germany". During this workshop, the participants examined the current status of Korean Studies departments within German universities and their teaching methods, and then discussed future strategies for the international dissemination of online courses produced by the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center.

1st 2023.08.24(09:31) 2023 Inha CIS Workshop

On August 16th, 2023, the Inha Center for International Studies held a workshop at the Jungseok Memorial Library Conference Room. A total of 19 participants attended this workshop, including Jean-Young Lee, the director of the Inha Center for International Studies, and Kim Eundeok, the head of the Caritas Migrants Culture Center as well as the person in charge of the migrant education program. On this day, Director Jean-young Lee, the workshop presenter, gave a presentation on the theme of "Overseas Koreans and Multicultural Social Integration." Following the presentation, all workshop participants discussed, sharing their on-site experiences and diagnosing domestic multicultural policies and the current state of affairs.

4th 2023.03.22(09:23) Joint Researcher Workshop on Online Course Development and Operation

On March 17, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the 4th workshop of the 2nd year with the theme of "Developing and Operating Courses."  Eighteen people, including joint researchers and representatives from Mirim Media Lab, the video production company, participated and shared their experience and know-how on filming online course along with the first year's course operation report and the prototype demonstration of the second year's course.

3rd 2022.11.08(10:54) Joint Workshop [Overviews and Challenges in Inha Global Project]

On November 1st , the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the 3rd workshop of the 2nd year online with Professor Jeongho Kim of Political Science and Relations at Inha University. With the theme of “IOverviews and Challenges in Inha Global Project”, seven members of the K-Academic Diffusion Research Institute project (Director Jinyoung Lee) had the opportunity to discuss how the Center could successfully promote online programs regarding Korean studies by collaborating with the Inha Global Education Project, and develop exchange programs with other universities overseas. The K-Academic Diffusion Research Center will further develop online courses and dispatch affiliated members abroad, thereby contributing to promoting the spreading of the center’s achievements all over the world.

2nd 2022.07.29(10:57) Joint Researcher Workshop on Online Course Development

On July 28, the K-Academic Diffusion Research Center held the 2nd workshop on the project's second-year Online Course Development.   Seventeen people, including joint researchers and representatives from Mirim Media Lab, the video production company, participated in this workshop to look into major guidelines and instructions for developing online courses. In addition, joint researchers filming courses in the second year presented their first lecture draft to get advice from experts, particularly in efficient ways and matters to be attended to during the course development.
